It is kind of embarrassing how much happiness can come from food- or a full belly. O your babys grumpy? feed him. O your husband is grumpy? feed him. O mommy is scary today? feed her.
In our house this is usually case. I need to keep bacon in my purse for the boys and strawberries for the girl and a lil chocolate for mommy.
While we were at my mom's house, one watermelon brought us so much joy and memories for all.
One of my childhood summer memories involving watermelons: the annual 4th of July parties at the pool. The life gaurds would cover a watermelon with Vaseline and throw it in the pool and everyone had to jump in and try to get it from one end of the pool to the other AND get it out of the pool.
