Ice This

While Tim and Nick studied Greek sunday evening. Nick's wife, Joy, taught me how to decorate a cake. I baked a cake and let it cool. when they got here to our house we ate dinner. then the boys got to studying. Joy brought a bag and tool box full of cake decorating things. Including books, tips, tons of buttercream icing, sample flowers that she made from sugar and water... The list goes on and on. We kept it simple. she was a great teacher. I leaned some neat 'secrets'. like ice the cake, put it in the fridge to harden a big, then take it out. Get some flat no ridge paper towels and gently press all over the cake. it will rub out any wrinkles in the cream and make it perfect. It turned out beautiful. We topped it off with pretty pink flowers and greek letters. Thank you Joy for the prettiest cake I will ever be a part of making :)
