Weekends in Waco...

This weekend was yet another sweet time before the semester begins. Tim begins a week long orientation Monday morning and then next week his long awaited start in the doctorate program at Baylor. (dramatic music- dum, dum, DUUM).

Of course Adam has been in heaven playing with his daddy all weekend. Tim took him to the museum Saturday morning and slept hard afterwards.

When Adam builds or makes anything, I will say, "go show daddy."He will run down the hall with his cute run and beam with pride as his dad praises his work.

He is speaking more and more sentences and stunning us with the words he uses. He called his dresser drawer a cabinet yesterday.

We went to a house warming party of a fellow student's tonight. Adam played with the dog for a long time. The dog chewed on a rock for a long time and Adam said, "He's eating!"

In the evenings Tim and I have been watching the Olympics and enjoying leisure reading. Tim is reading Treasure Island and will probably finish it tonight- he definitely likes it :) I am reading The Return of the King and enjoying that.

Tomorrow night we are having a Popsicle (baca) function with the neighbors who have kids. We will definitely get pictures of that messy event!

Pray for us as time draws near for the new baby to come! Also Gary's birthday is the 23rd!!! Let the count down begin! 6 days from now.... or 5 if you are reading this on monday! and our annerversary is on the 21st. We will be married 4 years...

Sundays are really great days for me because I get out of the house and interact with other people and worship. This sunday we went for a second visit to Woodway 1st Baptist. Again we liked it I hope to go their again. This is another prayer request that we would find a church home sooner than later.
