How did the chicken get to the other side of the mobias band?

Do you know what this is? It is a MOBIUS BAND

And this is a set of gears around a mobius band- WHOA! 

 So here is the story. A year ago a childhood friend of tim's texted him this joke. Tim not knowing what a mobius band looked it up. And he was amazed. He explained to me that basically an ant could crawl along all the edges without ever crossing the band. WHAAAAAAAT!?!

In case you are dying to know the answer to the joke: the  chicken just kept walking straight.

Last night Tim sat here at the computer staring at pictures of mobius bands AMAZED AGAIN. It really is incredible, mind blowing. Polks kids probably make them all the time.
