We are new territory with Ryan. He cries and whines and basically i feel like I don't know him anymore. He yells at me like a TEENAGER. Worse even. Well, maybe. It feels worse. He is testing me. Today he told me I am not the mom anymore. When I looked at him, I asked "are you being ugly to me?" and he said "yes." with a guilty look. I told him that I would always be his mommy and that he needed to talk nicely to me and obey. He burst into tears. i hugged and kissed and held him as he cried. Poor little guy.

yes. I wonder if it's because we weren't able to spend as much time disciplining our 3 year olds when they were 18 mos-2 1/2 because we were also dealing with their big brothers and younger sisters....what do you think?
