Gran Mazie has a gift with children. I love when she calls and talks to the boys. She delights in them- even when they won't cooperate (ugh!). I love my Mazie. Her and Grandaddy Charlie are amazing people. Their love for the Lord is... well... beautiful. Mazie and Cha-lee always made things so wonderful for us growing up. They kept coca cola in the pantry and I knew i could always get some when I went to their house. O and they also had Fruit loops- the real kind! Mazie would take ALL of us (there are 15 grandkids total) to the dollar store and buy us a treat. She came and got me at school whenever i was sick and let me watch TV!
Gran Mazie and Charlie volunteer so much time all over town. For awhile it was at the food shelter downtown and for the past couple of years a lot of time and tlc has gone into a women's shelter. O, did you try to call and no one answer? That is because they are probably at church serving. O did you call and they answered and then hung up? That is because they can't hear. Not many people give nearly as much of their time, energy, things and love than Gran Mazie and Gran Charlie.
