Sleeping Aid

Last night when I laid down to go to sleep, I thought to myself, "I feel good. I had a really nice day." I woke up so refreshed. Do you know why? Because Mimi and Pops are here. They played with the boys all day long. I cooked dinner, but they cleaned it all up. I got to take a nap yesterday afternoon. They got up with the kids. normally everything I do is undone, but not this week :)
It makes such a difference having them around. We really needed a visit! It is going to be really hard when they leave!
So before I forget I wanted to post some sleeping advice I have received from a video I watched. I thought others might benefit from it.
natural sleeping aids
Valerian (helps you fall asleep and stay asleep)
Passion flower (for those of you that have anxiety throughout the day this will help. )
Ashwagandha (reduces stress compounds)
Lavender (just smelling lavender will relax you)

Nightmare Trick for adults and kids...
talk about what the dream is about. then have the person create a new ending. An ending they like. Then something small in the dream. For example, if you are being chased by a man, change it to a bunny. If they are holding a gun, change it to a carrot. Just talk it through.
The more you are able to empower the person having the dream, the better. another thing I heard was have the child draw the scary 'thing' then having a stomping party and let them jump on the picture and beat it up or maybe even burn it.
