Golden Birthday

no birthday candles. But adam thought this was a better idea anyway.

ryan is hilarious with the light saber. I only caught part of it. he was spinning in circles with the thing .

Today I had my golden birthday (I am 28 on the 28th)! It is one of my top birthday memories. This morning, Tim let me sleep in. I then woke up to pancakes and sausage and golden syrup. The boys tim included, and I went to the YMCA. We came home and ate lunch. We put Ryan down for an early nap and let Adam have cake with us. Tim then took both boys to the dr to check on the ol' ears. Adam's ear actually looked a lot better praise the Lord!!! Keep praying. My friend Kristen had her best friend in town. She called and asked if she could stop by. I was excited to finally meet Liz. Thankfully I had showered because when they got here they told me they were kidnapping me...

Kristen dressed me in a bright gold party hat and plenty of gold necklaces. We then got in the car and met some other girls from my bible study- katie welter (as adam calls her), and Paige, allena and aarryn had to work- at the coffee shop for my personal fave- white mocha. then we went and got our nails done. my finger nails are gold of course. and my toes are a cool blue (not to be confused with carolina blue. honestly it is a darker than duke blue). It was so much fun. It was so relaxing. Then i had to come home and get ready for my date wiht Tim.The girls from Bible study were babysitting!!! So Tim and I went to Shogun, a japanese place. It was so good. charlie and sara tried to pay for us from NC!!! After we went to see "It's complicated" and laughed a lot. But in the end, I have to say it really was complicated.

This doesn't include all the birthday cards and calls I got. Thank you so much. I love all of you so much. My golden birthday is only special becausee I have all of you. This is so corny but it is my family and friends that are the most important.
