Tuesdays Blessings

This semester something really neat has happened. I started praying that tuesday nights God would use us somehow to minister to other families. On our end of the bargain, I will just cook and make our kitchen/dinner table available. On God's end he brings the mouths to feed. Josh Stout is an automatic. He eats with us every tuesday. If he can't come over to eat, we send food. One week another a family joined. We were the ones that felt so blessed. Then yesterday I made tons and tons of enchliadas. But in the midst of preparing them, I stepped outside. A carpet cleaning company was cleaning the empty apt. above us. The guy offerered to clean our entire apt. for 25 dollars. I decided to do it. I spent the next 40 minutes getting everything possible off the floor and even some furniture went outside. Well the guy and I got to talking and he said, "it must be tough with your husband still in school." And I said yes, BUT God has been so faithful. He is a believer and decided to bless us with a FREE carpet cleaning.
But I had a problem, my carpets were wet, needed to dry, I had 2 dishes of enchiladas, furniture was all askew...
My neighbors pulled up. The Melton's have been out of town for almost a week. They had a family funeral in houston. They were so tired from traveling. I asked lisa if she wanted some enchiladas. she looked like she wanted to cry. she had just looked in her freezer and all that was left was frozen dinner. not even enough for all of them. They got the enchiladas.
Then we were blessed at dinner time because our tuesday night buddy took the bill!
God turned my prayer around on me. We were so blessed. Thank you to all of you for your prayers and love. We are praying for you. I feel like I understand paul so much better when he says how much he prays for the saints in different places and longs for them... and hopes to come see them again.
