Always a time for firsts with kids...

(I tried reverse psycology with my photo I wanted to upload and it still didn't work right).

Today the phone rang. I was down the hall. Adam was right by the phone. He picked it up and this is what I heard, "Hey. I don't know. November 26...." Then he started telling some story about what had happened that morning. He was a silly man this morning. one thing he is really good at is telling a story in a good sequence. He will say I wanted candy. I showed mom where it was. Mommy said no. Why did she say no daddy?

Ryan says ball. When he wants something he just makes a sound, "uh uh uh" until we get it right. Whenever he is in his high chair he wants our water. Not a sippy cup. He wants to drink out of my cup or Tim's. It is gross and cute. What isn't cute that your own kid does?

A Mary mac theory about old movies...
a)I love old movies.
b) I asked myself, "why don't they make movies like that anymore"
c) and for the movies they do remake, "how come they don't work?"
My theory is back then people across the board were more superstitious. A movie about an invisible rabbit that loves bars would be ridiculous. Or a movie about a leprechaun wouldn't go so well (the luck of an irish man or the movie with sean connery, anyone remember that one?)
d) what changed? I guess we got more scientific. more educated. you don't have to kill rabbits any more to find out if you are pregnant or wish warts off with pennys and secrets.
