Nathaniel and Ali
Adam (yes he is barefoot) and AntonioThis summer I met Kristen Polk at one of the churches we visited. She and I had swapped numbers after run ins at chic fila and the musuem. Her son is two weeks younger than Adam and she is expecting a little girl two weeks after I am expecting our second son.
Thursday morning I pulled out her number and left her a message saying we were headed for the museum. She met us there and our boys had a great time but what matters most is she and I had quite the time talking :) The fun part is when I got home I had a message from her saying she was on her way to the museum and asked us to meet her at the zoo Friday... Neither of us knew the other had called.
We met them at the zoo friday morning. Another mom and her precious children came too. The zoo was amazing. Adam went crazy over the animals, even the bugs on the side walk fascinated him. He kept saying, "more, more, more." His favorite animal was the tiger- is he a little Will? (Cousin Will Young was obsessed with tigers). In fact he was just talking in his sleep saying, "more, more, more." He was probably dreaming of the apes or bananas. The zoo was a wonderful experience and when anyone visits it will be one of the first places we take you.
We enjoyed our new friends very much and look forward to more fun times with Nathaniel and his soon to be born baby sister.
foolishly I didn't take any pictures of our sunday school event saturday night. There are only four couples in our class. But all together we currently have 9 kids and two on the way. We had a pot luck dinner here at our club house. The kids got to swim, play volley ball, run all over the grounds while the adults enjoyed talking to adults! It was really fun and a good oppurtunity to see everyone outside of church.
