Starting Friday morning at a park with friends and ending tonight when Adam went down at 7pm we have been on the go.
We met some friends at the park Friday morning and then went to one of their houses for lunch. After naptime we ran errands and then went with daddy to ice cream night held on campus for the grad students in the Relgion department. I wish I took my camera that night because the kids played on a mini stage all night. They sang and danced and had their sugar highs on the stage. It was so fun and delicious I might add.
Saturday we went to an art festival downtown. This thing was really well run. They had all these different stations for children to participate in the art festival- face painting, hat making, decorating paper plates, puppet making, clay!, painting on giant canvas', as well as a pavillion for people to sit and eat corndogs and listen to local musicians.
That evening Tim and I watched a movie we got from the library- The Love Letter. His choice.
We have been going to Alliance Bible Church for about a month now and do you know we tried to go a different way this morning and totally got turned around. Needless to say we were late.
We did make it to the pool this afternoon where someone informed us this is one of the coldest Septembers in Waco's history. I am so thankful because I really think God did it for me. I need a little Fall.
