Wednesday

So it is actually Thursday and I can't believe the week is going by so fast. Wednesday morning I had my second dr appt in Texas. Adam came with me. We were there for over 2.5 hours (mostly because I had to do the glucose test), and Adam was so good. I was so worried that he would go crazy in there for that long. But he really did great. He read books, sang songs, played with the chairs, played with me... I was very proud.
As for the baby/pregnancy everything is great. I just keep waiting for the dr. to tell me, "we made a huge mistake on your due date. The baby is actually tomorrow." So far no luck :) haha. The dr. did say the baby is measuring big and he scheduled an ultrasound in three weeks. That doesn't mean anything. This baby just stretches out. He kicks my ribs and at the same time is punching my lower back. He is a stinker.
Tim had two classes with the same professor yesterday, Dr. Talbort. He taught at Wake Forest and Vanderbilt and is now obviously at Baylor. He sat at our table during the luncheon the first day of orientation.
Last night we had one of Tim's preferred dinners: corndogs, mac and cheese, and later chocolate milkshakes. We gave Adam the corndog and he had so much fun with it. But when he discovered there was a hot dog in there he thought he found a treasure. He was so excited. The second corndog we gave him, he just ripped off the bread and went at it. The boy loves him some hot dogs. So healthy.
note: last night I had a dream we were at the Brookin's house and we were ALL sitting around talking and all the sudden I noticed Matt's hair was short. He told me he had to cut it so one of his birds could make a nest. Matt is so selfless.
John Brookins leaves for college today! Pray for him and his family!
