Happy Child?

So Adam has officially started throwing tantrums. Yes folks, the terrible twos are beginning. (Even though I am a firm believer that three is worse than two.) We will see how it goes with Adam.

What do we do when Adam throws a tantrum? We send him to bed without any supper.... no that isn't true. I do let him cry it out in his bed. When he threw a tantrum in a store this morning we simply walked out of the store and he couldn't go in the store again until he had a smile on his face. He did it too. It is amazing that a 20 month old knows when he isn't acting up to par.

He is getting very particular about things. He doesn't want to wear certain shirts because they make him itch, he doesn't want food just anywhere on his tray. If a plate doesn't fit on the tray, it must be removed. If there is trash near him, it needs to be in its proper place. So is this from Tim's side or my side? Sounds a little like me when I was little. Scary.

He loves the when I clean the floors. He lets me chase him with the vac. and loves to help me sweep and mop. He has become quite the little helper. I guess he is like a house elf, Doby?

Today we leave to pick up Lander and Mom in Austin. After we get them we are meeting our cousin (mom's cousin's daughter) Lillian who lives in Austin. We will hang out with her and eat at the Oasis on Lake Travis. http://www.oasis-austin.com/ This restaurant has been recommended by everyone that has ever told us anything about Austin. I am very excited. But more excited that we get to see Lander and Mom!!!

Tim has class today and this afternoon he is playing raquetball with Josh , the other NT student. They plan to have a man night until us girls and Adam crash the scene.
